Why is geometry dash not opening.

I recently got geometry dash for my new iPhone. I’ve had it for years on my droids. But I got it on here and it won’t open. Can someone tell me why it’s doing this. Archived post. But here's how I fixed it: find geometrydash.exe and right click > properties. select it to run in compatibility mode for a previous version of windows (e.g. Windows 98) run geometry dash. it should load, but with bad fps etc. restart pc. run gd in non-compatibility mode.
